“”Senior” was a famous documentary filmmaker who produced, among other films, The River, The Plough that Broke the Plains and Nuremberg. His son followed in is footsteps to produce award-winning documentaries. Pare Sr. was introduced to Harthaven by my father, Sandy Low. They shared, among other things, a love of messing around in boats. He purchased my grandfather’s (Walter H. Hart) home and I recall many stimulating evening conversations with both Lorentz’s and their families.” Sam Low
